“Grand River is a tiny village in northeast Ohio. It gets its name from the nearby Grand River. Its most famous former resident is the winningest coach in the history of the National Football League, Don Shula. He won two Super Bowls, including notching the NFL’s only perfect season with the Miami Dolphins in 1972. Shula is one of many great football coaches to hail from the state of Ohio.
